The amount of Lawyers looking to go into Public Sector has trebbled.  A lawyer has told us, that the reason for this is a better work life balance and the chance to deal with meatier legal issues.

The amount of qualified lawyers who seek to join the Army Legal Services has increased Fivefold.

According to the Times Online 25% of Lawyers want to leave the profession all together, due to stress and long hours, but can't because of money constraints.

Good news people - after the shock of trainee solicitors being sacked by voicemail, it seems that the top 100 are beginning to hire again.  This bodes well for private practice recruitment consultants.
